Have fun and help Books for Kids at the same time by organizing events and activities to collect new books and cash donations. Please note that our mission is to only accept NEW books so that we may provide the best possible materials to the children we serve.

Here are just a few ideas:

• Book Drives: organize a new book drive at your school, scout troup or community service organization. Call us to find out how.
• Read-a-Thon: Hold a read-a-thon (download kit).
• Throw a Party: for your child's next birthday party or milestone celebration, ask guests to bring new children's books for Books for Kids instead of a gift. Or, for your next birthday or special occasion, ask your friends to bring new children's books or make a donation to Books for Kids in your honor.
