Sesame Workshop
We are an official partner of Sesame Street Workshop. Books for Kids will be distributing their early childhood literacy programs, innovative DVD’s and flash cards to all of our libraries and approved centers and schools throughout the NY Metro area and across the nation.
Hooked on Phonics
It is the goal of Hooked on Phonics to make a difference in children's lives by making learning fun and easy. By collaboration, research, and testing, they continually develop innovative products and systems that teach children not only to learn but also to love to learn. We are working with Hooked on Phonics to distribute their literacy systems to children would not otherwise have access to them.
Jumpstart
Through our partnership with Jumpstart, the children we serve will have a weekly reading program, literacy activities and dedicated adults who will also provide one-to-one reading support. The one-to-one relationships at the core of the Jumpstart model build literacy in combination with social and emotional readiness.
